Pope Leo XVI took care of my newsletter this week.


I can tell you that as I was creating our parish bulletin in Word years ago (yes, cringe, I know)...

I never DREAMED there would be a time when the Vatican of all places held a conference for digital missionaries and influencers.

And yet, that's exactly what happened just a few weeks ago in Rome.

Just the term "digital missionary" fills me with such renewed hope and purpose in this work that we do.

It's what I have based this whole business on: That marketing is our way in which we have been called to live out the Great Commission.

And to have it recognized and valued by the Vatican is just an incredible turning point, I think.

But then Pope Leo XVI dropped this truth bomb during his address to the attendees and yeah, I knew I'd have to let him "guest post" this week because I think it's something that every one of us working in the marketing space need to hear:

So this week, I invite you to reflect on the Pope's call: How are you inviting people into an encounter with Jesus through your marketing?
