You need to know these 5 things before you start marketing.

Nope, you're not crazy. It's Wednesday, not Monday.

This is just a quick off-schedule email this afternoon to remind you of the free webinar I'm hosting tomorrow, February 6 at 4 pm ET: "5 Ways Jesus Used Marketing (That You Can Use to Grow Your Business or Ministry)."

Because you're already on my email list, you can RSVP just by clicking here (and yes, I'll send the replay to those who register!).

Plus, there's a fun bonus surprise on the confirmation page about how you can meet with me 1:1 for free. 👀

Want a little more info before you RSVP? Click here to read a description of the webinar and sign up manually.

I'll be going live at 4 pm ET tomorrow to break down the 5 essential strategies every business or ministry needs to know to grow — using the same strategies Jesus and the apostles used to grow the early Church.

These five things are non-negotiable if you want any marketing to be effective...but most people skip over them because they don't know they're important and then marketing is WAY HARDER than it should be.

I could talk about this forever, because I am so passionate that we could truly change the lives of so many souls if we just knew how to reach them.

This webinar is my free gift to you because it's literally all Jesus — and yes, He used marketing. He makes it holy and good.

And because of that, you can use it to reach the souls He's calling you to reach in an ethical, non-sleazy, yet still effective way.

I'd love to see you tomorrow at 4 pm (or in the replay)!

For His greater glory,

Emily

P.S. I'm hosting a free webinar tomorrow, February 6 at 4 pm ET, 5 Ways Jesus Used Marketing (That You Can Use to Grow Your Business or Ministry), and it will be transformational, not just for your parish, but also for you in your approach to ministry. Register by clicking here.

P.P.S. This isn't a sales pitch veiled as a webinar. At the end, I'll spend about 30 seconds sharing how I can help you further if you need more assistance — the rest is an hour of solid teaching. And if there's time at the end, I'll take questions too! Hope to see you there!

There was no newsletter last week because I was still catching up after an incredible weekend: my dad was ordained a deacon! It was a beautiful weekend full of incredible moments getting to celebrate all of my dad's hard work leading up to this new vocation. But of course, it wouldn't be me if I didn't have a few marketing takeaways for you too from the ordination :) Prepare for the long game. Surprisingly, my dad didn't just show up at the cathedral on ordination day and say, "Hm, I'd like...

"Oh no," I groaned under my breath. Due to a sorry miscalculation of yogurt containers in our house, our breakfast schedule had gotten all mixed up, and I realized we'd be having yogurt two mornings in a row for breakfast. The problem? My 3-year-old has suddenly decided he *hates* yogurt, after devouring multiple bowls of it for years. And I was not in the mood for Day Two of a toddler showdown before even the sun had woken up. Suddenly, I had an idea. We'd been reading Fancy Nancy the night...

I didn't start out thinking it would be a course. When I first sat down at our kitchen island six years ago with my Bible and a stack of marketing books, my research was just to satisfy my curiosity: Can we find Jesus using any marketing strategies in the Bible? And once I realized I had to share what I was finding, I just jotted down notes in a notebook, then eventually a Google doc starting in October 2022. (Three years later, that Google doc is almost 41 pages and counting.) My first...
